Passage: Acts 23:12-22
Our culture is so used to drawing lines in the sand and being defensive and divisive. However, when we truly understand the sovereignty and faithfulness of our powerful God, we begin to view the world through the lens of gospel hope, and that in turn causes us to live with a missional perspective where we see the potential of what God can do through others even when they don't have it all together or have different beliefs and ideologies. Instead of drawing lines, we are called to invite others into a relationship with this sovereign God who is powerful enough to save us from our sins and is loving enough to sacrifice his own life to give us redemption, reconciliation, and restoration. What will happen when God touches the lives of our neighbours, colleagues, friends, and relatives? What will happen when God touches our city with the gospel? Do you view your community through the lens of this gospel hope?
