The closing verses of the Book of Acts focus on God's mission again. The book was not about a human hero named Paul, Peter, or anyone else. It was about Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of God moving forward through his church. At the end of this amazing book, we find that the Apostle Paul lived a consistent life of being on mission for God through radical hospitality--even when he was imprisoned. He reflects this theological idea of God being our host. How can we reflect God's hospitality and invite others to join the banquet that God is preparing for us to fill us with his goodness and mercy?
