Passage: Acts 21:27-36

The Apostle Paul is falsely accused and unjustly beaten, but rather than making a defence to vindicate his own name, he focuses on the mission of God and continues to love the people whom he has come to serve. How does he have such a mature and exemplary posture when falsely accused and slandered against? Because he trusts God to ultimately vindicate him and because his personal vindication is not as important as the vindication of Jesus' name. We live in a day when there are so many evil lies being spoken about us. The great deceiver tries to tell us that we are not good enough; that God's grace cannot cover our filthy sins. However, we need to learn to see past the lies and see the truth of the gospel that says that God loves us; that we have total forgiveness in Christ. He says we are beautiful, valued, and worth the blood of the Son of God! Trust him. Take him at his word. This is truth.
