On Sunday, we were reminded of one of the most amazing events in the history of Christianity: the testimony of Paul the Apostle. In his defence before the angry mob who had accused him, Paul can only point to the resurrected Jesus, the one who has transformed his life forever. Jesus WAS his defence. We can see Paul has a genuine love for his own people, the Jews, and risks his life to show them the amazing power of the gospel.

Hopefully we can continue to learn that by the incredible sovereign grace of God, no one is outside of Christ's love and power to save. May we, as followers of Jesus, continue to live out the words of 1 Peter 3:15, always being ready to give an answer of the hope that we have within us in Christ, and to do it with love, grace, and respect, as Paul exemplified here in Acts 22.
