Passage: Luke 15:11-32
In this parable, Jesus shows God's heart for the lost sinners through the character of the compassionate father, and he rebukes the self-righteous leaders who do not value the lives of those who are lost. The father is eager to override the son's wrongdoings with his amazing grace, and Jesus invites us to learn the heart of God and respond by following after him in pursuit of the lost.
