Passage: Acts 20:17-38
In this New Year's message, we explore the idea of spiritual formation and seek God's guidance in how our hearts are to be formed into his likeness as worshippers of our God.
More specifically, God's word clearly shows us the centrality of the cross of Jesus and how we are called to radical generosity and sacrificial giving of ourselves in service to our God and his people.
Our generosity and sacrifice often result in beautiful accomplishments, but our goal goes beyond what we want to achieve; our goal includes the formation of our hearts when we learn that it is more blessed to give than to receive. When we participate in God's generosity and sacrifice, our hearts become aligned with his and we experience the deepest blessings in life. We wish you a happy new year, and even beyond happiness, we pray for God's utmost blessings of helping you to give generously and sacrificially this year.
