1 Peter 1:3-9 // Today we are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus our saviour! And today truly is a celebration, despite the life circumstances we find ourselves in and the challenges we are facing. COVID-19 and the impact of COVID-19 is weighing heavily on all of us. The recent health order changes may have caused you to become frustrated and experience deep disappointment. The "circuit breaker" language that is being used right now may have increased your worry, fear, anxiety, and created a sense of "when is this going to end?" We continue to go through a season of life that is marked by instability and uncertainty.

Against this backdrop, why are we celebrating? It's because the resurrection of Christ slices through everything and provides us with a hope that slices through everything. When we turn our life over to Jesus, placing our trust and faith in him as our personal saviour, we are saved and gain eternal stability, certainty, and hope, a living hope, in Christ.
