It's been wonderful seeing so many people from our church family come out and enjoy our September pickleball sessions! We've had lots of fun on the courts while meeting new people and building connections within our church family. Now we're excited to kick off our regular season on Wednesday, October 14th!
Sessions will run Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so there are lots of opportunities to get active, enjoy the game, and develop friendships with people from our church and the wider community.
Whether you're brand new to pickleball or an experienced player, there's a place for you! For beginners, we offer introductory lessons, skill sessions, and, new this season, mentored sessions to help players become more comfortable and confident with the game. For novice and intermediate players, we offer skill sessions to help develop their game, along with a variety of playing sessions.
More than Just Pickleball—an Opportunity to Serve
Our pickleball ministry is about more than getting people on the court. It's an opportunity for our church family to build authentic relationships, extend radical hospitality, and reflect the love of Christ to people in our community. Many of the people who come through our doors have little or no connection with a church. That gives us a wonderful opportunity to welcome people, get to know their stories, build genuine friendships, and let our faith be seen through the way we serve and care for others.
There are many ways to get involved—whether it's welcoming someone new, helping a beginner learn the game, mentoring a newer player, coaching, hosting a session, or simply being intentional about building relationships on and off the court.

Our sessions are popular and can fill up quickly, and we're looking for hosts and designated substitute hosts to help keep things running smoothly. Hosting is about much more than managing the courts. It's a ministry opportunity. Hosts help create a welcoming environment, introduce newcomers to the pickleball community, answer questions, and make people feel like they belong. And there's a great perk: hosts are guaranteed a spot to play on the day they host—and they play for FREE!
