Passage: John 6:38-40, Hebrews 2:17-18, Hebrews 4:15-16, Matthew 7:24-27

Christmas is all about celebrating a moment in history when a son listened to his father. Jesus listened and obeyed God the Father when he came to earth. Jesus left heaven, his home, and came and dwelt amongst us as Immanuel, God with us, the one making a way for us to overcome sin and enjoy a thriving, flourishing, and eternal relationship with God. Jesus listened to his father and it changed everything for all eternity. Christmas invites us to listen to a God who is shouting, "I love you," and is inviting us to trust and follow him because he loves us and wants us to thrive and flourish, and fully enjoy life. All we need to do is listen!
