Passage: Genesis 3:15

In this Eden Mountain—a place that was supposed to be oozing with intimacy with God—Adam and Eve experience being distant from God for the first time because of their sin. Is all hope lost? In Genesis 3:15—right in the middle of all the depressing and devastating consequences of sin—God interjects with a bright promise of HOPE! The protoeuangelion; the first gospel is proclaimed and the world has been anticipating the coming Saviour since then. Because we have certainty of this hope, we cannot remain silent. We must head to the mountains to tell it to the whole wide world. The gospel—the promise of the Saviour—is too big of a deal for us to allow ourselves to be stopped by doubters. This message of hope is too important to our world for us to keep the message to ourselves.
