Passage: Hebrews 5:11-6:12

Hebrews calls us to a deep relationship with Jesus, the better high priest, who will help us move from the shallow end of the pool to the deep end of the pool of spiritual formation and maturity. The bible says that this will require us being trained by constant practice, but this is not a call for us to do more. It is actually a more difficult call for us to do less. This is an invitation to a season of pruning unnecessary things in order to grow and bear fruit. This is an invitation to trust God, our vinedresser, to cut away things in our lives so that we may bear more fruit for his glory and for our good. What is God asking you to let go in order for you to make time and space for constant practice in the better way of Jesus?
