This summer, SDBC Kids has an unforgettable lineup of events planned, and we'd love for our church family to be part of it! No matter your age or stage of life, there are plenty of opportunities to join us as we spend the summer building meaningful connections and creating lasting memories together.
We're excited to bring back our family picnics in July and August—an event originally suggested by one of the dads in our church that has since become a much-loved summer tradition! Everyone is welcome to join us at Centennial Beach and Memorial Park as we relax, connect, and enjoy time together as a church family.
We're also thrilled to be bringing back the Camp-Out in July, and this year, we're adding a family BBQ to make the weekend even more special.

SDBC Kids Sunday & Family Carnival
June 28th // 10AM
Get ready to kick off summer in the best way—together! Join us on June 28th for our annual SDBC Kids Sunday and Family Carnival, happening immediately after the service. It's one of our favourite days of the year, and it's shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.
Family Picnic at Centennial Beach
July 8th // 5PM
Pack your dinner and join us for a relaxed and joy-filled evening at our Family Picnic at Centennial Beach on July 8th from 5-7PM!
2nd Annual Camp-out & 1st Annual Family BBQ
July 17th // 5PM
You're invited to our Second Annual Family Camp-out, and this year, we're kicking things off with a family BBQ on Friday night! Join us starting around 5PM on Friday, July 17th (though you're welcome to come start setting up anytime after 4PM) through to 11AM on Saturday, July 18th for a fun, relaxed, and memory-making experience together.
If you're planning to come, we'd love for you to fill out our quick RSVP form so we can plan accordingly for dinner and breakfast.
On the Move Camp (Waitlist open!)
August 17th-21st
At On the Move, kids will spend an unforgettable week exploring their community, discovering how God has been at work for generations, and learning that they are part of his big story too! This camp will run from Monday, August 17th to Friday, August 21st, from 9AM-3PM each day.
Family Picnic at Memorial Park
August 28th // 5PM
We'll be wrapping up our summer of fun with one final gathering at Memorial Park on August 28th from 5-7PM! Bring your own picnic dinner and come ready to enjoy a relaxed evening together as we close out the summer.
