Pictures can play an important part of telling a story. This is probably why there is an old adage that says a picture is worth a thousand words. The photography of our church activities serves an important purpose in our church telling the story of God's glory and gospel; it helps populate our website and social media content, allows people looking for a church a glimpse of what our church community is like, and gives our brothers and sisters who are less mobile due to health conditions a valuable sense of belonging as they see the church family that they love and miss so dearly. Sometimes, we will even have people tell us that the photos that they see while they're scrolling through social media remind them to come back to church if they have been drifting away from the church for various reasons.
We have an amazing team of volunteers that serve on our photography team, and we are looking to expand the team! If you have some experience in photography (you don't have to be a professional photographer) and would like to serve our church in this way, please let us know by emailing us by clicking the button below. If you do not know much about photography, but you'd like to learn, this is a great opportunity for you. We have some professional and hobbyist photographers who could help you acquire the skill to serve on this team.
