Passage: Luke 2:1-7

In our culture, Christmas is celebrated near the end of the calendar year, which makes it seem like Christmas is, in a way, an end of a journey. However, in Christian tradition, Christmas was always viewed as the beginning of a journey--the journey of Jesus' earthly ministry of redemption that will climax in his crucifixion and resurrection. The baby born in a manger is born with a profound purpose; he is born to die for the sins of humanity and to be our Saviour. He is born so that he could bridge the gap between humanity and God and become our reconciliation.

The journey clearly doesn’t end here at Christmas; it starts here. Christmas is an invitation to follow King Jesus who gave his life for us so that we could be in right relationship with God again. Will you journey with us toward this wonderful King Jesus?
