Galatians 1:6-9 // Paul's passionate letter to the Galatians helps us gain clarity on what the gospel is and what it is not. The gospel says, "Jesus is enough," and yet, so often, people try to add something to the gospel in attempt to earn our righteousness. Paul adamantly argues against this distorted, false gospel and reminds us that there is no other gospel: We are saved by having faith in Jesus who is our only saviour and who is enough for us. We don't need to add anything more. In fact, to add anything is to take away from God's glory.
