Passage: Luke 2:8-14, John 8:12

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. There’s so much to love about Christmas: family, good food, presents -- both giving and receiving -- Christmas parties and Christmas music! It’s a season filled with great joy but not perfect. The very things we love about Christmas that bring us joy can simultaneously be sources of frustration, disappointment, grief, pain, tension, and conflict

We see, feel, experience, and recognize that our world is not perfect, but filled with brokenness. But God, in his great love for us, doesn't leave us in this state of brokenness. Floundering on our own and trying to navigate life on our own. God enters into human history; He enters into be God with us; He enters on his manger throne, light into darkness, to ultimately save us from sin and brokenness because of his great love, mercy, and grace towards us. And this is Good news of great joy! How will you respond to this good news of great joy?
