Throughout Lent, we've been sharing songs that teach us to cry out to God about the brokenness in our lives and to remember how Christ's body was broken to heal our brokenness. Our final song for the season of Lent is titled "Son of Suffering."
Tomorrow we will celebrate Good Friday, remembering Jesus' suffering and sacrificial death for us on the cross so that we could be forgiven and restored to close relationship with God. Our final Lent song is meant to help prepare us for this somber celebration by putting in perspective the extent of what Jesus did to be near to us. Would you pause to let the lyrics of this song turn your gaze towards Jesus and approach Good Friday with wonder and gratitude at his sacrifice.
