Thank you so much, church family, for praying for our refugee family as they travelled to the Canadian Embassy in Ankara for their refugee claim interview. The appointment went very well! They were given a "positive Eligibility assessment," meaning they were deemed eligible for the refugee sponsorship and in need of protection. Essentially, they are approved pending standard background checks (which should not be a concern for this family). What a joy to celebrate this great news with them! Please continue to pray for God's protection over their family in the coming months as they wait for the news that they are cleared to come to Canada and as they prepare for the transition to life in Canada.
