Our Biggest Carnival Yet!

21May, 2026

SDBC Kids Sunday & Family Carnival is back for another incredible year and this year we're going all out! On June 28th, we're inviting our church family and the wider community to join us for an afternoon full of fun, connection, and celebration as we make this our best carnival yet.

During the service, we'll be hosting our annual SDBC Kids Sunday, where everyone will get a taste of what kids experience on a Sunday morning. The whole congregation will get involved in a fun game together, there will be some epic prizes, and we'll celebrate all that God is doing through our kids ministry in a lively and engaging way.

After the service, the Family Carnival will run from 11AM-2PM with plenty of free games and activities for all ages to enjoy. We'll also be introducing some brand-new attractions this year that we think families are going to love. For our youngest guests, we'll have a toddler fun zone where little ones can safely play and explore, and for those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, we'll have giant lawn games set up throughout the afternoon.

We're excited to welcome a new food truck this year serving burgers, fries, chicken strips, and hot dogs, all available for purchase. Pair that with free cotton candy, popcorn, and Rocky Point Ice Cream, and it's shaping up to be a seriously delicious afternoon.

We're looking for a team of volunteers to help make this the best carnival yet! There will be opportunities to serve throughout the event from 11AM-2PM, with sign-up sheets available for different activities and time slots throughout the morning. Whether you're able to help for an hour or stay for the whole event, we'd love to have you join us in serving our community. We'll need many hands to help make popcorn, spin cotton candy, run games, help with face painting, and welcome families throughout the day.
