What is a missionary?
A missionary is someone sent with purpose to share the good news of Jesus Christ. This has often meant being sent to another country, but it also includes those who are sent into their own communities—workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and beyond. Wherever God places us, we are invited to live as his witnesses.

What does a missionary do?
Teach about their faith, focusing on the teachings of Jesus Christ, and provide services such as education, healthcare, and social justice initiatives.

Where do missionaries work?
Matthew 28:19-20: …as you go into the world…
Philip and the Eunuch from Acts 8:26-36

All Christians are missionaries, as we go into our world whether it is to a place of work, school, play, or shopping. During social encounters we take Christ with us and should be willing to share by showing respect and care for another person in kindness and deed, ready to love and share the word of God.

What does God require of us?
Micah 6:8: "...but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with our God."
