What is Gospel Alive Day?
Across Canada, people are asking deeper questions about faith, identity, and meaning, while churches long for renewal, encouragement, and shared purpose. Gospel Alive Day is intentionally designed to foster Christian unity across Canada. It invites us to recognize how the gospel is alive through the lives and expressions of Christians across the country—inspiring, encouraging, and strengthening the Church. When churches unite in worship, testimony, and shared declaration, the Church speaks with one voice, demonstrating that the gospel continues to bring light, unity, and hope to our nation.
Gospel Alive Day invites churches across Canada to celebrate the gospel together on the same Sunday, while staying rooted in their local communities. It's not a conference or centralized event, but an opportunity to join in a shared moment of unity. Through Gospel Alive Day, the Church celebrates that the gospel is alive and that the good news of Jesus continues to bring hope to every generation. During our SDBC Kids Carnival Sunday on June 28th, we will be showcasing a special Gospel Alive Day video featuring stories of the gospel at work across Canada. As a church, we will also join together in prayer alongside churches from coast to coast as we celebrate the good news of Jesus and the work God is doing across our nation.
Please pray for Gospel Alive Day and consider sharing your story! Churches and individuals are invited to share stories that reveal how God is at work and how the gospel is alive across Canada. If you'd like to share a story, please click the button below.
