Celebrating Easter as a Church Family

08Apr, 2021

Thank you for joining us to worship together over the Easter weekend. I loved the Good Friday and Easter online services and enjoyed worshiping our great God with our church family on this important weekend. We estimate that there were about a thousand people who participated in each service, and I am so encouraged to know that God is still a priority for our church family even when we are not able to gather in person. I also enjoyed our outdoor communion services on Easter afternoon. Thank you for braving the cold and participating in a unique service. I hope it was a meaningful time for all of you who participated, and I look forward to more opportunities to gather in person safely and responsibly.

Our God is worthy of our praise, and we continue to be amazed by his grace and mercy in our lives. This weekend was a reminder of the power of the cross and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. As Pastor Jordan reminded us on Sunday, the resurrection of Jesus slices through all darkness and brokenness and gives us living hope! During the most difficult time of our lives, we have a Saviour and a Redeemer that pursues us with love and passion. Let us continue to exalt Jesus and proclaim his good news to this world!
