Our Korean Ministry team is currently serving about 50 children for the All-in-One camp. About half of these campers are visiting from Korea and the other half are Korean speaking students from our area, and they spend a few weeks together learning about Jesus, living in a Christ-centred community, and having so much fun! This camp is organized by our partner church in South Korea—Samuel Hill Community Church, and we have the privilege of partnering with them to serve these children.
This Sunday (July 27th), the All-in-One campers and leaders (totalling around 70 people) will be joining us for our worship service and hanging out with us for our communion lunch after the service. The vision for this camp is to help students belong to a gospel community in which they can grow in the knowledge of God's word and learn to follow Jesus faithfully. Many of these leaders are taking vacation time from their work to come from Korea to serve as camp leaders because they are passionate about investing the gospel message in the younger generation. This year, several people from our church were able to partner with our brothers and sisters from Samuel Hill Community Church to co-labour in this gospel work.
As we host these campers and leaders on Sunday, let's show them our trademark Radical Hospitality and encourage them with the love of Christ. You'll see the campers in yellow t-shirts; please welcome them well and help them feel at home as they worship our God with us in the house of the Lord.
