About the Event
Our annual Father's Day Car Show is returning on June 15th! As is our custom, there will be a fundraiser at this event. This year, we're raising funds for SDBC Tutoring. If you're not familiar with SDBC Tutoring, the program offers effective support for students with dyslexia by giving them free access to tutors trained in a modified Orton-Gillingham approach, which has helped many children with dyslexia improve their literacy. This kind of tutoring is normally very expensive, so we're thankful to make this quality, supplemental education accessible to children who experience learning challenges due to dyslexia. Your purchase of doughnuts and cold brew coffee, and any other donations made to SDBC Tutoring will help more students access this free tutoring service and set them up for success in their education and careers. Donations of $20 or more qualify for a donation receipt.
