Passage: Nehemiah 2:1-8

When we lack confidence in our life of faith, it’s natural for us to not go all-in because we fear disappointment and failure. We fear that we won’t be accepted if we fail, so we don’t go forward at all. We stay stagnant and never break through. This is why the bible continues to show us that God CAN be trusted; meaning that we can be confident in him. Nehemiah 2:8 says that “the good hand of my God was upon me.” Do you believe the good hand of your God is upon you? Can you move forward with confidence? Do you trust the gospel (good news) when it says that our failures won’t stop us from being accepted by our God? Recite Romans 8:31-39 today. Trust the gospel when it tells you that nothing can separate you from the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We don’t have to be paralyzed by fear. We can move forward with confidence in our radically faithful God and BREAK THROUGH.
