Passage: Nehemiah 11:1-12:26

In re-establishing order in the Holy City, Nehemiah ensures that worship is central to the function of the city and of its community. He organizes life among the covenant people of God to be centred around Yahweh worship.

Is worship of God prominent in our daily, weekly, monthly rhythm? This could look different for each of us because we have different rhythms, capacities, seasons of life, etc. So, I cannot offer you a one-size-fits-all application, but I am going to encourage you to evaluate this question: Are the rhythms in your life reflective of a worshipful life?

In order for us to thrive as a covenant community of God’s people and to enjoy deep and abiding relationship with him, we can commit to a worshipful way of life that helps us to prioritize our relationship with God and allow our relationship with him to overflow into every aspect of our lives.
