For the last several years, many of us have been missing the joys of regularly gathering with other young adults in our church community. In less than one month, that is about to change. On Saturday, April 27th at 6PM we will be hosting a Young Adults Social at the church to celebrate the end of the semester and the beginning of summer! This will be a pizza and potluck event where we'll order the pizza and everyone is invited to bring a favourite appy or dessert to share with others. We'll also have a variety of games to play, such as ping-pong, foosball, board games, and maybe even 9-Square! This will be a great opportunity not only to connect with other young adults in the community, but to invite your friends, including those who may have never been to church before. In fact, I invite you to pray for someone that you could invite, pray that God would be stirring in their heart over the next couple of weeks and they would experience the joy of our community in a tangible way.
Regardless of whether you're a young adult or not, please pray for our Young Adult Ministry as we prepare to re-launch for the first time in a couple of years. Pray that this gathering would be full of joy and a missional opportunity for radical hospitality and meaningful connections. Our hope is to hold a few more socials like this throughout the summer and eventually launch into doing a regular young adults program each week beginning in September, which we are really excited for.
