Last Sunday, we reflected on our mortality. We remembered and grieved the loss of loved ones and that one day we, too, will die. We also turned our eyes to the death of Jesus Christ in our place as we approach Good Friday. We grieve his sacrificial death, but we also look to the cross with great hope knowing that this one death put death itself to death. We know Sunday is coming.
For our final Lent Call-to-Action, we are calling our church family to partake in the Good Friday worship service (9:30AM or 11:00AM). We will be reading through the Passion narrative from Matthew's gospel and taking communion together as we reflect on the death of Jesus, our Saviour. This service will not be livestreamed, so we ask that you consider attending in person if you're able.
