Serving Our Friends in the Tsawwassen First Nation Community

Tsawwassen Community Church is a ministry of SDBC which has been ongoing for a number of years. Usually, we meet every Sunday at 5PM in the little white heritage church on the Tsawwassen First Nation lands for a time of worship through music and bible teaching followed by a sit-down meal which is a wonderful opportunity for relationship building. As with many regular activities taking place during the current pandemic, we have had to adapt and change what we do, and, in fact, pause most of our regular activities. However, despite restrictions we were able to carry out several acts of kindness throughout this time and maintain some form of meaningful contact. Our desire going forward is to continue to reach out to our friends of the Tsawwassen First Nation community in the right way, at the right time, and at their welcome. Pandemic restrictions are still not allowing us to resume our regular Sunday meeting, but hopefully soon. As always, we thank you for your prayerful support.
