Worshipping with Thankfulness

07Oct, 2021

One of the most important values a parent can teach their children, is thankfulness. It's one thing (and a very good thing) to learn those beautiful words, "thank you" and to speak them often. It is a much bigger thing to have a heart that is perpetually thankful. And yet, this is what the Christian life can, and should, look like always giving thanks in all situations. This kind of heart transformation is truly a gift from God.

Thanksgiving weekend is just days away. I'm sure plans are being made to be with family and friends to feast on the goodness that God has provided. What a gift, especially during these times. Please join us on Sunday morning as we are excited to celebrate Thanksgiving as a church family. Come ready to worship God, the giver of good gifts. We will be participating in a special Thanksgiving communion together, remembering the ultimate gift given to us through Christ.

Also, as part of our worship service, we will hear the testimony of those who have learned from God to be thankful, even during incredibly difficult times. In light of some of these current pandemic difficulties we face as a church, you are invited to give to our Thanksgiving offering, which will continue to help the many ministries of our church seek to accomplish the mission of Jesus. As we finish up our Home series this Sunday, let us look forward with thankfulness as to what God will do among us.

See you Sunday!
