In-person Service Update

29Oct, 2020

This past Sunday we announced that we would begin offering the balcony as a secondary 50-person space for our in-person services. Essentially, the balcony would function as a separate event with its own entrance, check-in area, and washrooms with no interaction with the main floor 50-person gathering. We put this plan together based on the most up-to-date guidelines and protocols issued by the Provincial Health Authority and received approval. However, this week we received further information and instruction from the Provincial Health Authority regarding our in-person services that have now made it no longer possible to offer the balcony as a secondary 50-person event space. This shift may be a result of the recent increase in COVID-19 cases along with tighter restrictions being placed on gatherings. While we are extremely disappointed by these tighter restrictions, we are thankful that we are still able to open the main floor for in-person services while continuing to engage online.

Moving forward, we are still keeping the 8:30AM morning service start time to allow for fellowship and cleaning between services and we will be opening the Chapel space once again as a Watch Party event during the 11AM service (we still have approval to offer the Chapel space as a separate event). Please pray for wisdom and discernment as we continue to navigate forward during a challenging and uncertain season of life and pray that we would see a decline in cases and an end to COVID-19.
