Food on the Corner (FCS) will soon be entering its 40th year of serving a hot lunch to the homeless in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside. Other than a few weeks during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have faithfully served a weekly meal of hot soup, sandwiches, sweets, and coffee, all lovingly prepared by over 100 volunteers who are primarily from South Delta.
Our FCS truck loads up supplies every Friday morning then heads downtown first thing Saturday to serve the hot lunch. We are always in need of volunteers to make soup and prepare sandwiches, but especially to drive the truck and serve the meal downtown. God has provided for this ministry very well and we are looking forward to celebrating our 40th anniversary next year.
