As you may have noticed, we just wrapped up our 15 week series where we heard from all our SDBC missionaries. It was a fantastic time of getting to know them more through reading their interviews. Through those interviews, we learned how they have been doing since COVID-19 started and how it has impacted their lives and ministry. It also provided us with ways in which we can remember them in prayer. I hope that you enjoyed reading about our missionaries and getting to know them better!
The missionary series gave me the idea for our next series that will be in the weekly newsletter. The series will be called, "Catching Up" and each week we will hear from a different SDBC staff member. Through this series you will learn about each person's role on staff and how they love and serve our SDBC community. You will get to hear how COVID-19 has impacted their lives and work, and, similar to the missionary series, how you can pray for them.
It is our hope that through this series you will get to know our staff better, see a snapshot of their work at SDBC, and how things have changed and shifted since COVID-19 started.
Thank you so much for your continued prayer, encouragement, and support for our staff. You will hear a common thread through these interviews and it is the fact that we are all so thankful for our wonderful SDBC community and family.
