First Steps Preschool Reflection

13Jun, 2018

June is one of the busiest months of the school year for teachers and students alike. It’s a month that brings celebration, excitement, and transition all together. Our little four-year-olds are finishing their last few weeks of preschool and heading off into the next chapter of their young lives.

June also gives us an opportunity to reflect on the two years they have spent at preschool. To sit with parents and talk about the many different ways their child has grown and developed during the past two years is a wonderful reminder of why we teach and invest in these young children. These little humans have so much more to accomplish in their lives. We pray that the contributions and investments our teachers have made will have a life-long effect on them. As we celebrate the graduation of our four-year-olds into kindergarten, and anticipate with excitement the arrival of our new little three-year-olds in September, please remember to pray for our church preschool, the families who attend, and our teachers.
